Ngwa Afanwi Neba is a Cameroonian self taught artist born on 11 of April 1984 in an English town called Bamenda. Neba graduated from High School in power engineering but having a big passion for creating amazing art with bamboo, drawings and paintings with beautiful colours all by himself. Neba is from a family where everyone was so creative in their ideas and skills. His father was a professional architecturer teaching in a government technical college and his mother was a business woman selling in one of the most popular markets in Bamenda town called Nkwen market. Neba was spending most of his daily hours helping his mother in her marketplace. He was also inspired by the activities at the market place and the beautiful colours. In 2018, for some reasons, Neba is recognised as a refugee in Greece for more than four years. By living in Greece, Neba developed a love for humanitarian work and started volunteering works with N.G.O’s. Luckily for him, he met amazing personalities who promoted his Art, like the Director manager of The IMAGINE CENTER in Chios and the Director of lovewithoutborders4refugees.com. Neba Identity went international. He worked as an art teacher for adults, teenagers and kids. At the same time, he was volunteering with another N.G.O, the AMKA PROJECT in Athens as an art teacher for adult refugees. By working with Love Without Borthers, Neba had the opportunity to show and exhibit his art in four regions in Greece, in several states in the US, in Canada, in UK/London, in Germany/Hanover, in Denmark and in Spain/Granada. He finally became an art coordinator for refugee parents and their children in the N.G.O. Action for Education. After those four years in Greece, he moved to Switzerland in 2022 with his partner who is Swiss. They established there for the well-being of their family : their first born baby arrived. They welcomed one more amazing baby not long after the first one. He's currently working in another field than Art but still managing time for his creativity. Since he arrived in Switzerland, he already exhibited his Art in three different places. His ambition to create will never come to an end.
